BDPA Middle Tennessee chapter plans to give out $1,000 scholarships each of the five (5) students that earn a spot on the city’s national team competing at the 28th annual BDPA High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championships being held Aug 1-4, 2012 in Baltimore. The mission of the BDPA Middle Tennessee chapter is to support local information technology (IT) professionals and increase the number of historically under-represented persons of color in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) areas.

We have created a  Crowdrise Project to raise the $5,000 needed to fully fund these college scholarships. Our hope is that we can find 10 people to join our fundraising team.
